Mardrulk Contracting is a new Indigenous-led social enterprise created to provide employment for Indigenous people within Arnhem Land.
We provide high-quality civil construction services in the Arnhem Land region.
In addition, Mardrulk Contracting uses its profits to repair and develop side roads, tracks and outstation access roads within Arnhem Land to improve access to outstations and homelands, sites of cultural significance, to food sources and improve transport connections between local communities.
Whilst we are a new social enterprise, we have been created through a unique partnership between Mimal Land Management Aboriginal Corporation (Mimal) and Loftus Contracting Pty Ltd (Loftus). The partners bring deep expertise and are committed to building a social enterprise in the region that is known for quality, reliability, safety and value for money.

Loftus Contracting Pty Ltd (Loftus)
Established in 2019, Loftus offer a comprehensive suite of construction services in Gladstone and the greater area. It has grown exponentially to become on of the most trusted names in the Queensland constructuin arena. Although primarily known for its experience in Civil Construction it also specilised in other forms of construction such as building, demolition and marine projects. Loftus has built its reputation on attention to detail , quality, modern plant and equipment, recruitment of people who know the industry and delivering innovative and sustainable solutuioons. We are bringing our wealth of knowledge and industry skills to assist building this new social enterprise.
Our civil construction capability
Through Loftus we are licenced, certified and experienced.
Our experienced team offers a diverse range of skills to deliver civil infrastructure and maintenance programs of work. Led by team members from Loftus, Mardrulk Contracting is committed to delivering projects successfully on or ahead of time and within budget. Through Loftus we have the capability to complete the Project Lifecycle of services from Project Initiation, Scoping, Estimation, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance.
